Racial Justice

Crossroads Church is committed to the work of racial reconciliation and justice in our community and the larger society. Through education and opportunities for conversation with other area churches we continue to invest in identifying and owning our own privilege, breaking down racial barriers, and building avenues of friendship, community, and partnered advocacy.

Since 2007, our church has been a member congregation of the local chapter of the Gamaliel National Network, Metro Organization for Racial and Economic Equity (MORE2). Our pastor currently serves as the chair for the MORE2 Clergy Caucus. Alongside churches from both the Missouri and Kansas side of our state border, we are working to bring about change in areas of education, healthcare, immigration, workforce, and criminal justice.
